Description of Idea

As students walk into the P.E. room we sing "We're following the leader, the leader, the leader. We're filling up the front row, the front row, the front row. We're filling up the back row, the back row, the back row." Students sit on a colored tape line. They know when the tape runs out on the front row the next person goes to the end of the back row. Next I say, "Everyone's sitting on their bottoms, legs crossed, hands in your lap, eyes this way and you have your listening ears on. Good morning or Good Afternoon!" They know then we are ready to begin.
