Fitness Challenge Outside of School

Purpose of Activity:

To encourage students to exercise outside of their school.

Suggested Grade Level:

9-12

Materials Needed:

Fitness Challenges (Editable Word Document)

Description of Idea

Once a month a different fitness challenge is selected. If the students return it to me signed by a parent/guardian by the end of the month (or the date given), they are entered into a drawing for a prize. Prizes are up to you.

Also, feel free to make up different fitness challenges. The goal here is to get kids exercising outside of school and this really works for us.

Variations:

Don't have to award prizes.

Make up different challenges. Have the kids come up with challenges. They could be partner in nature.
