IceBreaker Games includes games and activities designed to "break the ice" and "warm up" groups of children and adults of all ages!
IceBreaker Games provides an environment that is conducive to the way children and adults interact together and form into teams. The application includes tools that are valuable for leaders, educators, facilitators, coaches, animators, activity specialists, camp counselors, and day-camp employees - basically, any individual or group with the goal of helping members to get to know one another.
How App is used in classroom/gym:
KEY FEATURES -Categorized Lessons The games and activities in the application are categorized according to by activity level and by equipment used: low activity, medium-high activity, no equipment, 1 type of equipment, 2 types of equipment, and 3+ types of equipment. Each game and activity includes a description of the activity level, equipment, rules of play, variations and progressions, and explanatory diagrams.
-Growing Database of Games There are currently more than 100 games and activities included with the IceBreaker Games application.
-Add to Favourites Bookmark your favorite games to a list for a quick and easy reference!
-Quick and Easy Search Capabilities The games and activities are sorted alphabetically and by associated category to make searching a snap.
-Tap or Shake for a New Game! Not sure where to start? Tap to refresh or shake your iOS device - a game/activity will appear in front of you immediately. Looking for something else? Simply tap or shake again!
-Built-In Timer Want to keep track of your icebreaker games without switching application? IceBreaker Games includes a standard built-in timer with the capability of starting the countdown, ending it, and resetting the timer altogether. Useful tool to ensure that lessons are running on schedule and on time.
