Warm up or mainstream activity app for Health classroom for any age.

How App is used in classroom/gym:

I have used this app as a warm-up activity to get the students aware of the body system that we are covering that lesson. The app allows them to interact on a limited level with that body system alone or view it with multiple systems. After the students have had a few minutes (each student had their own iPad, though you could use an iPad for 2 students) I would bring the class together and discuss what they observed in the few minutes the students had to explore that body system. After the short discussion, I would use the app as a visual teaching aid to help explain the body system that we are going to cover in that lesson.

I have connected my iPad to the monitor/projector so that all students can see what I am seeing. It is a great interactive visual that has many teachable moments. It can also be used as an assessment tool. Students can name the body system parts and how they work and/or interact with the rest of the body.
