Basketball Assessment: Right/Left Hand Dribble

Purpose of Activity:

To see if students can identify if their peers are using the correct cues when dribbling a basketball.

Suggested Grade Level:


Materials Needed:

The following task sheet, a partner, and a ball to dribble.

Description of Idea

This is a peer assessment so you will need students in at least groups of 2. One person will dribble a ball with each hand while their partner observes and uses the assessment sheet to check the progress of their partners use of the appropriate dribbling cues.
