Title of Bulletin Board: Fall into Healthy Habits

Category: Seasons (Fall, Spring, etc.)

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Die- cut leaves (yellow, red, orange and brown paper), die-cut apples (green and red paper), brown poster paper (tree and branches), white construction (lettering), neon paper, healthy habits

Description:

The board was created to promote Healthy Habits! Each week the students came up with a "new" healthy habit we added to the board! (Say No to Drugs, Wash Your Hands, Get Daily Exercise, etc.)

The board should be covered with a dark color, Blue or Black- that way everything will pop! I used brown poster paper or construction paper to make tree branches, cut as many branches as you would like. To give it texture crumble the paper together to give it a realistic look! Using the Die-Cut machine use brown, yellow, orange, and red construction paper to cut around 20-25 leaves of each color; using the machine cut 15 apples both green and red! Once you have everything cut/glued together in any pattern you would like on the tree (add a few leaves "falling") staple it onto the board! Add the lettering. The Healthy Habits should be printed out and placed on NEON/BRIGHT paper each Friday- you can add the class name to give recognition to the students for their ideas!
