The purpose of the "iUnfit to iFit" bulletin board is to encourage students and the community to use their iPhones/iPods for more than just social media apps. The bulletin board lists two different categories of applications that can be downloaded on any smart phone device. These categories are nutritional applications and fitness applications. Under each category, there are several different applications listed that can be used. A picture of the app, along with a description and cost are also listed. The applications that were used under the nutritional section were: LoseIt, Good food near you, calorie count, mint nutrtion, and myfitnesspal. Under the fitness applications section were: C25K, iTreadmill, iFitness, and Nike training club. All of the apps are available for free or for a fee no more than $2.99.

The main reason of why this bulletin board was built was to make students, faculty, and the community aware of all the great applications that can be used to promote and maintain a healthy/active lifestyle.
