Class "Goals"

Suggested Grade Level:

3-5

Materials Needed:

Poster, Paper circles (to attach to poster)

Description of Idea

I make a simple poster with a soccer theme (can be any theme that you choose however). On the poster, I draw 9 circles in an arc pattern heading towards a soccer goal. Each class has their own designated set of paper soccer balls that they need to earn.

If a class has done a nice job participating, listening, and following directions, they earn a paper soccer ball (circle) to attach to their designated area. Once a class receives 10 soccer balls (10 pts.), they earn a specified reward (e.g., free time on playground, choice day in PE, etc.). When students can see their progress on this poster, they really strive to earn points.
