Overhand Throw Critical Cues Assessment
Purpose of Activity:
To asses the students knowledge of the critical elements of the overhand throw.Suggested Grade Level:
3-5Materials Needed:
Paper and pencil and flat surface to write on.
Description of Idea
The critical elements of the overhand throw are listed at the bottom of the page. There are corresponding pictures on top of the page where students can write in the correct critical elements. Once completed, if correct, they will have the critical elements of the overhand throw in order with pictures to match (see example 1 below). Another way to do this would be for the students to be able to draw a line from the critical element to the matching picture (see example 2 below).
