Living with Asthma
Reduce stress when possible.
Stay inside as much as possible when pollution levels or pollen counts are high.
Cold air causes the airways to tighten up and can precipitate an attack.
Treat yourself to a relaxing hot bath to relieve asthma symptoms and alleviate stress.
Join a health club, YMCA, or YWCA, or develop an indoor exercise routine so that you can keep up with your workouts despite the weather.
Consider joining a support group, such as the American Lung Association.
Take a vacation from allergic asthma.
