Controlling Your Anger

Put yourself in the other person‚s place. Try to see their point of view.

Recognize the humor in a situation, but make sure the laugh‚s on you, not the other person.

Keep the volume down - if you speak quietly and calmly, the other person is likely to do the same.

Practice relaxation techniques. In stressfull situations try to think of something pleasant.

Walk away! If you are unable to get your emotions under control, tell the other person you will speak with them when you are calmed down.
