Healthful Cooking Tips
Lighten salad dressings by substituting yogurt, fruit juice or vegetable juice for half the oil.
Subsitute an equal amount of applesause for cooking oil in baked goods.
Prepare healthful, not huge, portions.
Roast, bake or broil foods instead of frying.
Choose lean red meat and poultry
Trim visible fat from meat.
