PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Wednesday, September 24, 1997
1. One of my first graders was not participating and was sitting on the bleachers. When I went over to ask him why he wasn't playing, he said, "I can't play today, I had my dependix out yesterday."
2. The second and third grade classroom which adjoins the gymnasium was discussion a story about a boy who had appendicitis. When it was time for their physical education class, one of the second grade girls came running into the gym and asked, "Wouldn't you just faint if you had to have your independence taken out?"
