PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Monday, September 20, 2004
Our elementary school often has a "theme day" that students are allowed to dress in a crazy way. Examples include: crazy hat, crazy glasses, mismatch day, twin day, etc.
Over the weekend, I had allowed my hairstylist to give me a "new look". Monday morning would be the first time the students saw this change. (My new hairstyle was very short and had the messy look).
My first physical education class on Monday was 4th grade. They were very polite and obviously noticed the change in my hair style. Finally, one well mannered boy raised his hand and innocently asked: "Mrs. Ruh...is it crazy hair day?" All I could do was laugh and give him a big hug!
