PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Monday, August 20, 2001
Date: Summer 1969
Place: Bates Elem. Fayetteville, AR.
I was a first-time teacher. I was working with four and five year olds in a summer enrichment program. I am female and 6 foot 1 inch. I had my little group in front of me and said, "My name is Miss. BRYANT and I will be your teacher." A small little boy pulled at the hem of my shorts, looked up at me and said, "Miss GIANT, when are we going to play?"
