One day after my kindergarten students finished their favorite instant activity, "Toe Tag", I immediately checked for their understanding of the activity. I asked each of them to find their heartbeat and tell me if their hearts were beating faster! One very bright student raised his hand and said so proudly, "Mrs. Erica, my heart is "beeping" really, really fast!!"
