I introduce myself to my new 1st graders as Mrs. Brush and give them some tips on remembering my name. Every morning when we get up we brush our teeth- I pretend to do the motion-we brush our hair- short demo. And if you are lucky your teacher will let you use a paint brush- I demo this motion too. So my name is? They yell Mrs Brush!! At dismissal I hear a yell from the playground ... Good bye Mrs. Paint!!!
