PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Friday, April 30, 1999
I was teaching the poem "Heart Power" from the Jump Rope for Heart program where the concluding line says "Live tobacco free." I asked my kindergarten students to summarize the poem and then I asked "What is tobacco?" It was silent for a moment and then a meek little girl called out "It's hot sauce!"
