I went over 8 bones with a 4th grade class. We discussed where they were located, scientific names, and their purpose. Then we did an activity using a giant skeleton puzzle. So they were familiar with the names. We finished with a tag activity and if a student was tagged they had to come and see me. I would point to a bone and give them a clue and they would tell me the answer. A student came over and I pointed to the femur and said "This is the longest bone in your body". He was so excited...he yelled "The Uterus"!
