Each year, I tell my students that they should just wave when they see me around school. They should not yell out "hey coach". On my way to the lunchroom, a kindergarten class started yelling "hey coach". I walked over to the class and reminded them to just wave. When I turned to walk away, the entire class yelled "bye coach".
