During an activity of I SEE..." as a quick fitness warm-up, I said to the students, "I see grasshoppers hopping around the gym." The students proceeded to jump around like grasshoppers.

To get some more arm movement I called out, "I see strong lumberjacks chopping down trees." All but one student began to make large arm motions as if chopping trees, yelling "TIMBER", and dragging the trees. One boy was standing still holding his arms straight out in front of his body. I went to him and asked if he heard the directions. He replied, " Yes! I'm a lumberjack! " When asked why, then, he wasn't moving, he replied, "I'm using my chainsaw!"
