Our current unit in 8th Grade Health is on non-verbal communication. I asked the kids to come up to the front of the class and act out an emotion that was on a card that I held. The rest of the class could not see the card and had to guess the emotion based on the non-verbal cues the student gave. One boy came up and chose the emotion "confused." He stood with his arms stiff at his side and made a funny face. All the students looked at him, but there were no guesses, until one girl asked, "Is he constipated?"
