PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Wednesday, March 19, 1997
My fellow third grade teacher and I were discussing one of our student's habits of always being the last to finish every assignment and how the class always had to wait for her. The other teacher said that she had made a statement to her about her slowness, but that she thought that the student did not quite catch what she meant. The comment made to the student was, "Come on, Janey, you are as slow as molasses," to which the student replied, "Who's Molasses?"
