I was working at a YMCA sports camp one summer, and the head of the camp was working on baseball skills with the children. The camp director kept calling a little girl "Mr. ______, because she had a short haircut and the director really though that "she" was a "he." Finally, after calling her a "he" all afternoon, the little girl spins around and says, "Hey, I'm a ma'am, not a mister!"
