During our gymnastics unit, the second graders were practicing different types of rolls. We had just finished learning about the "log roll" (when the body is long and narrow) and the "egg roll" (when the body is tucked and round). I had all of the children sit down, and said "The next type of roll we are going to try is..." when one little boy jumped up, waving his hand wildly in the air with a look of amazement on his face, and exclaimed "I know what the next kind of roll is going to be! It is the omlette!"
