At the end of each kindergarten class I give out a sports pencil to one student who has a great day in following all directions, behaving, listening, etc. Once I hand the pencil out I have the rest of the students applaud. I gave one out recently to girl and noticed one of the boys did not applaud. I made an announcement to the whole class saying that it is always nice to respect others for doing their best. Immediately after I said that, the boy said "you're right Mr. Folli," he looked at the girl and said "I am sorry Savannah you did a great job, I love you and want to marry you!"
