During the first few weeks of school this year, I was getting the Kindergarteners use to running a "lap" around the track. Several decided to run across the grass. I responded when they finished how that was considered cheating. We talked about that for a minute and how the more we run our heart wouldn't be cheated either. One little boy looked up and said, "But Coach we wasn't cheating, we was just taking a short cut!"
