A second grade class came into the gym with a student who had been at my school for only two weeks. I had the Deck Tennis Rings out and ready for my lesson. He must have felt the activity looked difficult because he immediately told me that he had sprained his ankle..."real bad!" I told him to go to the nurse and have it checked. He jumped up and started to walk right out the door and then stopped suddenly, turned to me and said, "May I limp!" I said, "Of course, you can." With that answer he had the most pronounced limp I have ever seen.
