I always encourage my students to "Exercise their Bodies" at recess and at home to improve their fitness levels. One of my 3rd grade students said, "Miss F. last night I exercised my tongue...I licked a Tootsie roll pop 842 times." I couldn't help but smile and encourage him to continue to exercise his tongue, as well as, the rest of his body!
