I explained to my first grade students that we were going to be starting a unit of line-dancing. After explaining that we would be learning several different dances one student raised her hand and asked, "Are we going to be doing the Margarita"? While attempting to supress a smile, I explained that while we won't be "doing the Margarita", we will be learning the Macarena!
