Mr. Hobbs, our music teacher, shared this with me. It is a wonderful story that needs to be shared. Students at Wakefield are a special bunch. Following the holidays, Mr. Hobbs was talking with one of the younger student (2nd or 3rd grade) about his vacation and what he had done during his time off. Mr. Hobbs was concerned that this student hadn't had much of a Christmas due to the family situation and asked quietly how the gift situation was. The little boy brightened up and said "I had a great Christmas! This year I got to GIVE a lot of great gifts!"
