In P.E. I really use my last name (Winn) to my advantage. Students grow up believing they are "Winn-ers" from the very beginning. Sometimes it goes a little far! My primary P.E. classes (K-2) have their classes on Wednesday at Hamilton Elementary School. When a classroom teacher asked a child to name the days of the week, the child said..."Monday, Tuesday, Winn's Day, Thursday..." That same child, two years later, still believes that Wednesday is Winn's Day. Guess maybe it is time to change P.E. to Thursday.
