Last fall, while teaching a unit on football, one of my students commented that he had been to NFL quarterback Jim Kelly's football camp. On discussing placement of the fingers on the football strings, my student said to me that "Jim" had told him where to place his hand. Then the fifth grader turned to me and asked "Is that right?"
