While discussing the activities I had planned for the year with a First Grade class, I mentioned Soccer. A boy raised his hand and informed me he had been playing soccer for 63 years. I said, "Wow! You must be pretty old!" He replied, "No! Just lots of experience!" I smiled, and continued. Another student shouted out, "You can't have played that long!" Trying to save the first boy from being embarassed, I attempted to continue when the second boy added, "You'd have to be 38 years old if you played that long!"
