One day I was teaching a lesson with sunglasses on and my hair pulled back in a french braid. As my students were lining up for an activity, one of my Kindergarteners said to me, "You look so pretty today Miss Kay." Of course I thanked the student. At the end of the class, I took my sunglasses off. The same student came up to me and said, "Miss Kay, you looked a lot better with your sunglasses on."
