Purpose of Activity:
For students to gain a better understanding of mental disorders.Suggested Grade Level:
9-12Materials Needed:
Ipads for research and filming commercials or student cell phones will work as well
projector, for displaying the commercials to the class

Description of Idea
The students will research a specific mental disorder and the create a 1 minute info commercial on that disorder to present to the class.
The following documents fully explain the idea.
In addition, the group must give me 3 questions they would like the class to answer during or after the airing of the commercial. The questions will then be given to each student in the class to answer during the presentations.
Teaching Suggestions:
Use your discretion as a teacher to see if 1 minute is too short of a time period to get all of this in. If you wish to make it a bit longer that is up to you.
