Volleyball Set Pass Peer Assessment

Purpose of Activity:

To see if students can identify if their peers are using the correct cues when using the set pass in volleyball.

Suggested Grade Level:

9-12

Materials Needed:

The following task sheet and a partner.

Time Needed to Complete:

To be completed during PE class.

Description of Idea

This is a peer assessment so you will need to put students into groups of 2 or 3. One person will be a tosser and toss volleyballs to a performer. The observer will observe for the key points listed on the sheet below. Students then switch places.
