PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Olympic Medal Count

Category: Olympics

Suggested Grade Level: 3-8

Materials: Olympic Symbols and Olympic Podiums

The Winter Olympics are approaching and this bulletin board will be used to keep track of student/class progress as we work through the events. When a student earns a medal, it will be recorded and for every 10 medals a class earns, the class name will be posted above the appropriate medal. This gives students an opportunity to monitor progress and do their very best during Olympic events.

What another great idea. I like the fact that you used slits inasetd of pins or adhesive. That way you can trade out pictures of the same event or even add another event using the same bulletin board. Nice!

Great Idea! What kind of events do you do for them to earn a medal?
