PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Know Your Bones

Category: Other

Suggested Grade Level: 2-5

Materials: large sheets of paper (orange and black), die cut letters, cardboard skeletons

This bulletin board is sure to attract students’ attention and helps them learn the names of the bones. It also gives a Halloween feeling while staying focused on learning. During a PE class "Know Your Bones" can be used as a station. Give each student a copy of a skeleton and a pencil. Students write the names of the bones on their paper. The title and bone names aremounted on tag board and laminated so they can be used over and over. The skeleton can be reused or inexpensively replaced as needed.
