PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Fast Food Facts

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Materials: Checkered Table Cloth, Fast food Logos, Nutrition Facts for Cheesburgers from the different fast food chains, velcro dots, picture for the bottom corner, letters for the title

The purpose of this bulletin board was to allow the students to be able to read the different nutrition facts and try and match the restaurant to the nutrition fact sheet. The nutrition fact sheets were staple on the board but the fast food logos were on velcor dots so that the students could move them around. The students enjoyed seeing which restaurant's cheesebuger was the worst for you to eat. We followed this activity with the movie Supersize Me.
