PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Madagascar Gets Moving

Category: Movement Vocabulary

Suggested Grade Level: K-3

Materials: Projector, Character Sketches, Paint, Laminator, Die cut machine

I made this board to help show the students all the different ways they can move! I used the Madagascar theme because it's very popular with the kids and they love to sing the song, "I like to Move it Move it!" I not only added locomotor skills, but I tried to incoporate movement vocabulary pertaining to every unit we do in the school year.

I found the pictures on this website:
I then printed them off and made them into overheads. I traced the pictures and painted them. Finally, I laminated the pictures so I can use them again.
