PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Under Instruction

Category: Rules

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Orange Safety Net, Dollar Store tools, clothes pins, cones

This board would be great for use in the health classroom.

I used this bulletin board at the beginning of the school year. I had the students help me come up with the class rules and I posted them as road signs on the wall alongside the bulletin board. The tools I used are attached to the bulletin board and it gives the board a 3D look. The orange safety net is great because I am able to attach the student’s work to the wall without staples and assignments can easily be changed and I always have current work on display. I like the fact that I have a lot of room to post current event articles on the board that are of interest to my students and I am able to post their work where people can see it as well.
