PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Are you Fit For Life?

Category: Fitness

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Materials: Cut out letters, Pictures of sports kids

We took cute pictures of children playing sports and put them on the projector and traced them onto butcher paper. After that we colored, cut, and laminated them. The question states, Are you fit for life? As we are constantly talking to the kids about all different sports, not just basketball, baseball, volleyball. So we had pictures of rollerbader, swimmer, walker, skateboarder, and gymnast. We do this at the end of the year so that the kids know that they have to be active over the summer, and we talk about different things they can do by themselves or with friends to keep active.
