Title of Bulletin Board: Hop into Spring- Do Healthy Things

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Springtime cut outs-rainbows, bunnies, easter eggs, butterflies; cut out clouds, cut out letters

It's springtime and I wanted encourage students and staff to think healthy things. I feel the bright colors are attractive as well which may be uplifting as the ideas are read. I used rainbows as the top border and cut out white clouds that read four different healthy tips:

1.) Eat Healthy foods.
2.) Get Moving. Exercise 30-60 minutes daily.
3.) Make safe choices and
4.) Sleep 8-10 hours Daily

Plain green border was used for the grass and movement as the bunnies hop. The Easter eggs are blooming as flowers, with steams and leaves drawn on the board. Thoughts are written on the Easter eggs such as "Try a new Fruit", "Walk your dog", Look both ways before crossing the street" and many more that relate to the 4 Tips in the clouds. The side border are character building traits, Trustworthiness, Respectfulness, Honesty, Fairness, Responsibility, Citizenship, and Caring.
