Title of Bulletin Board: Will You Get 60 Today?

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Bulletin board paper, oak tag poster, construction paper, pre-made bulletin board set


Our students couldn't wait to find out the answers to this bulletin board's question, "Did you get 60 today?" To find the answers to "What, Why and How," viewers lift the the word to find the message hidden beneath. Under "What," the messages says "Elementary school aged children should get 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day. Under "Why," the message says "To feel better, to look better, to be more healthy so that you can play when you want to and enjoy every minute of it. Under "How," the message gives a list of sample activities from riding your bike to taking your dog or your brother or sister for a walk.
