PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Ready To Move Foward

Category: Lining Up

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Car Print Outs, Construction Paper, Chalk, Sissors and Overhead Projector

We made our Ready To Move Foward Bullentin Board to help our students line up and get ready to move foward to their next class. By having the cars and the numbers it gets the students ready to move and know what position they are suppose to be in. With the nice lines students can see how they are suppose to stand when we transition to our next class. At the end of each week, our line leaders take their car and move it to the end so they know where they will be next week. The pit stop is for when the students need a time out of class, we make them park their car so they know the are in idol. When the time out is finished, they get to join back in the race. This is a great tool to use for our class.

Additional Information:

We also use the bulletin board for counting during class. We place the number of cars past the finish line and that shows the class the number of times we will be doing each exercise.
