PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Your Heart Loves to Be Active

Category: About the Heart

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Materials: bulletin board paper, colored pencils/crayons, construction paper, sharpie

This bulletin board shows a large diagram of the heart with the blood flow arrows easily displayed and parts of the heart labeled. There are additional smaller diagrams of the veins, arteries, and heart and lungs in the body for placement reference. To round out the bulletin board I included a written flow chart of the blood flow and several "fun facts" about the heart taken from American Heart Association materials. The links below provide you with the fun facts and the diagram of the heart.
