PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: I Spy Treasures in PE

Category: Advocating for PE/Health

Suggested Grade Level: k-2

Materials: Paper

I created this bulletin board at the beginning of the school year to coordinate with our Pirate Theme for our Open House. The purpose I had for creating this bulletin board was to get students pumped for a new year in PE, as well as to inspire the students to think about the many benefits to living a physically active life!

The board consists of butcher paper for the ocean, island, Pirate boat, palm tree, treasure chest and a border. The pirate, gold and silver coins and the lettering were made from construction paper. On many of the coins you will notice I wrote different health related terms that are the result of a good physical education program!
