Title of Bulletin Board: How to Increase Range of Motion
Suggested Grade Level: 9-12
Materials: Pictures of people using techniques to loosen up muscles, pictures of people stretching the muscles that they loosened, and lastly ways to use that new range of motion.
The purpose of this board is to show people various ways to increase their range of motion. People can use techniques such as foam rolling or other self myofascial release to loosen up the muscle. A person can also engage in static stretching after activity/exercise since the muscle is more pliable due to the self-myofascial release. Doing specific activities that utilizes full range of motion is also beneficial to increasing range of motion.
