PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Eggciting PE

Category: Holiday-Easter

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Border, Construction Paper, Colored Paper

I chose the polka dot border to represent Easter eggs. I drew large eggs using shapes through Microsoft Word and filled them in with various colors. I printed free Easter egg coloring pages and filled them in with color. Laminated construction paper/colored paper was used for the jump rope and the letters. I wanted to create a fun bulletin board at the entrance of the gym that showed some of the things we incorporate in PE, but also wanted it to be seasonal. My students are very young, and I wanted all students to be able to understand the board. Kids have seemed to get a kick out of it so far.
